About Me

My name is Carolyn Cornelison and I am a 5th grade teacher in Chesapeake, VA. I've been teaching for 18 years before and after having a family. I'm certified in Elementary Education as well as Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies. I've worked in Special Education as well and am currently working as an inclusion teacher. I wholeheartedly believe that the willingness to learn new things is the hallmark of a good teacher. Another key component to quality education is collaboration.
